I'm sorry guys, the fluorescent comment was a cynical joke. I respect CAP members, but I always see them marching around the airport and can't contain my laughter.. We think this is a good policy in that it keeps Colonel grade in Civil Air Patrol distinctive for the position while still recognizing military competency for grades O-1 through O-5.

It was a little different from the regular AF uniforms that I was used to seeing.
